Legendary Shangri-La hospitality arrives in Abu Dhabi. The hotel, the first of its kind in this fast-evolving city, offers an impressive variety of services and facilities, and exemplifies luxurious hospitality in what is truly a destination within a destination.
A second hotel within the Qaryat Al Beri project is currently being constructed. It is nearest to Block F of the Shangri-La Residences therefore this block will be closed until the second hotel is completed. Noise is kept to a minimum as most heavy work has already been carried out. Hoarding will also block the view towards the building until construction has been completed. However, Block E Residences guests may experience some minor noise during working hours. New hotel developments are also being developed next to and across the water from the Qaryat Al Beri complex. However, this is a minimum of 1km from the main hotel building and no construction noise can be heard.
A unique and captivating destination, Abu Dhabi has long remained undiscovered by international visitors, but today more and more travellers are experiencing this unique Emirate. The city has grown with leaps and bounds over the last few years and has launched mega projects that are unrivalled anywhere in the world, placing it firmly on the international scene for business travel, leisure, conferences and International sporting events.

As the first major step, Abu Dhabi has first stapes to the cool city launching the Masdar Initiative, a global cooperative platform for the open engagement in the search for solutions to energy security, climate change and the development of human.Abu Dhabi is leveraging its substantial resources and experience in global energy markets into the technologies of the future. The one clean city in the Middle East is Masdar which is located in Abu Dhabi as a world-class research and development for new energy technologies, effectively balancing its strong position in the world energy market.A related objective is to drive the people and adoption of these and other technologies in sustainable energy, carbon management and water conservation. In doing so, Masdar will play a decisive role in Abu Dhabi's transition from technology consumer to technology producer.The goal is the establishment of an entirely new economic sector in Abu Dhabi around these new industries, which will assist economic and the development of knowledge-based industries, while enhancing Abu Dhabi's environmental stewardship and its contribution to the global community.
On 19 - 21 January 2009, Masdar will organise and host the second World Future Energy Summit (WFES) in Abu Dhabi. This will be the world’s largest conference and exhibition on renewable and future energy solutions, innovations, investments, policy and vision.
To conclude, I’m very broader about Masdar because it wills the first clean and cool city. And it will be in my hometown Abu Dhabi, UAE.

INTRODUCTION TO GLOBAL WARMAING

One of the biggest problems facing the world today is global warming and its effects many scientists believe that the huge change in the weather and bad habits of humans have caused global warming. In this essay I will list the main problems and I will suggest some solutions.
One of the biggest problems caused the global warming is the changing weather and increasing temperature. This change could affect the migration patterns. As higher extinction and will be more mosquitoes which will cause more diseases. Another result of global warming is melting ice shelves in arctic and Antarctic which cause rising sea level s. this problem could cause more typhoons and storms is seas and oceans and this might result in destroying coastal cities and effects sea life.
For this problem I will suggest some solutions. One solution is to reduce fossil fuel use. And increase using of the alternative energy sources including solar energy, wind power and hydrogen fuel cell. This will reduce the co and co2 levels and air pollution. Another way in which we can reduce global warming is recycling materials to save waste and energy. A third means of lowering the effects is saving the forests, planting more trees and reducing emissions through energy saving technology. This will increase animals and will increase the o2 level in air.
In conclusion, there are no easy solutions for this problem, but if everybody moves an effort, perhaps it can be resolves in the future.

I am from United Arab Emirates. I am 23 years old and I am a paramedic student in the higher college of technology, in the second year and I like and enjoy this course which is different because we are the first class studying paramedic and we are mixed class which is a unique in my country.
My purpose of writing about global warming is a lot of people don’t know what is or the causes and the solutions. I want give some ideas about it, I think this is a major problem because it affects our earth and environment and the space around us .The major cause is that is Carbon Dioxide from many places like cars, airplanes and buildings. The substance make the atmosphere (the first layer around earth) thicker than before which mean is that the Earth became hotter than before, which helps to melt the northern and southern poles and increasing the temperature of the atmosphere, affecting the natural and human life on Earth.
The best solution the people can decide it is to change their lifestyle and decrease using fossil fuels and replaced by new technology.
